Purchase SMS Credits for Alerts
Buy SMS credits to send alert notifications via text message
SMS credits are used by the Track My Ride alert system to send SMS messages to mobile phones. These are useful when you need to send alert notifications to people who don't have the Track My Ride mobile app installed. If you have the Track My Ride mobile app, you can receive alert notifications as push notifications for free.
If you're using a subaccount, contact your account manager to purchase SMS credits.
Purchasing SMS Credits
Step 1: Sign In
Access your Track My Ride account at https://app.trackmyride.com.au or use the mobile app.
Step 2: Navigate to Settings
Click the settings icon to open your account settings.
Step 3: Open SMS Credits
In the Account tab, locate the "SMS Credits" area and click the "Purchase SMS Credits" link.
Step 4: Select Pack Size
A dialog box appears showing your existing SMS credits and purchase options. SMS credits can be purchased in packs of 50, 100, 200, or 500. Select the desired pack size from the dropdown menu.
Step 5: Confirm Purchase
Click the "Purchase SMS Credits" button to confirm your purchase. Your payment method on file will be used to complete the transaction. Your SMS credits will be added to your account immediately.
Complimentary SMS Credits
The Fleet Metrics plan includes 30 complimentary SMS credits per month that reset on the 1st of each month.
Free Push Notifications
Instead of using SMS credits, you can receive alert notifications for free by installing the Track My Ride mobile app. Push notifications are delivered directly to your phone at no cost.
