Change Your Track My Ride Username
Update the email address you use to log in
Your username is the email address you use to log in to your Track My Ride account. You can change your username to a new email address, but you must authorise the change by clicking a link sent to your original email address.
If you don't have access to your original account email address, contact Track My Ride support at https://support.trackmyride.com.au/portal/en/newticket to request a username change.
Changing Your Username
Step 1: Sign In
Access your Track My Ride account at https://app.trackmyride.com.au or use the mobile app.
Step 2: Navigate to Settings
Click the settings icon to open your account settings.
Step 3: Open Account Information
Click the "Update account information" link in the Profile section.
Step 4: Start Username Change
Click the "Change Username" button next to the username field.
Step 5: Enter New Email Address
A "Change username" popup appears with two fields:
Current username: Displays your existing username (read-only)
New username: Enter your desired new email address
The popup explains that you'll receive a confirmation email to your current email address. You must click the link in that email to confirm and apply the change.
After entering your new email address, click "Update" to proceed, or "Cancel" to close without making changes.
Step 6: Authorise the Change
Check your original email address for a confirmation email from Track My Ride. Click the authorisation link in the email to complete the username change. Until you click this link, your username remains unchanged.
Security Requirements
Changing your username requires access to your original email address for security verification. This prevents unauthorised users from changing your login credentials without your knowledge.
If you no longer have access to your original email address, you cannot complete the username change yourself and must contact Track My Ride support for assistance.
After successfully changing your username, use your new email address to log in to Track My Ride. Your old username will no longer work for login.
